A registered and qualified pioneer in the Architectural and Building industry, William plays an influential and vital role in the promotion of BIM adoption in the local AEC industry as an Architect, a BIM practitioner as well as an avid BIM enthusiast. 

With more than 25 years of experience in the building industry, William also runs his own architectural firm in Singapore and is a strong advocate of leveraging on IT in building practices and started exploring parametric 3D modeling techniques back in 2001.

William was the first President of the buildingSMART Singapore and was also the past Vice-President for Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA). Currently, he is a council member of the SIA and Chairman for the Construction Industry IT Standards Committee.

He is also member of the BCA BIM Steering Committee and local panel of BIM experts under BCA, and often promotes and advises many local enterprises to adopt and implement BIM to improve their efficiency and productivity.
